Hydrology is often seen as a technical science, made of models, equations, and data.
But behind all of this, there is also a rich collection of stories: the history of how humans have tried to understand water, and the many narratives, traditions, and even legends connected to rivers, mountains, and landscapes.
In the next posts, I would like to explore this side of hydrology.
I will collect and share short pieces about the history of hydrology, interesting episodes, and also stories and legends related to water.
This is just the entry point of a small series.
